Mariah did an excellent job of creating a full book cover that we can be proud of!
Top designer as always, mind reader, this is my second time working with him and it won’t be my last, true professional...
I loved how creative the idea was...really outside the box. And it aligned with my last book which I appreciated.
Just excellent in general...
How motosoto started their book cover journey
Los Chocolates De Esperanza Diamanté
David Soto Jr.
David is a health and wellness coach turned author. As a child, he struggled with school. Learning disabilities yielded grades that lead people close to him to believe being a writer was an impossibility. He was discouraged from pursuing any type of career in writing. So, it was put on the back burner, and he joined the military. 23 years later, he retired and hit the road with his dog, Rusty. David penned several fitness and nutrition books, but after listening to On Writing by Steve King, he decided to give writing fiction a try. David still writes wellness and self-improvement articles on my his blog, http://www.theprimitiveyou.com as well as other websites, but now he finds himself a novelist and loves it.
This story takes place in Mexico maybe around the 1950's. It is about a woman who's chocolates evoke passion in the lives of those who eat them. The secret ingredient in her chocolates is a few drops of her own blood. The reason her blood laced with so much passion is because she is celibate. The reason she is celibate is because whoever makes love to her dies upon climaxing.
Women but based on the title, I would say Latin Women.
I guess I like the neutral color.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Chocolate, passion, and death are the I want to be incorporated. Into the cover. I like the style of the artwork in "Como Agua Para Chocolate." Esperanza, the main character, is the most beautiful woman most anybody in Mexico had ever seen. What makes her stand out, even more, are her GREEN eyes.
Also, I need the margins to be void of any text so I can turn this cover into a print cover on CreateSpace.
