Davevass got their new web page design by running a design contest:
website design for The Landowner App
Check out Davevass's Web page design contest…
We provide a web based software that allows landowners to manage and track their well sites, pipeline, and issues. We also provide a mobile app that syncs with the back office.
http://MobileNationHQ.com - I like the layout, how it flows down the screen. http://99Designs.com - I like the crisp, clean, modern feel.
I like sites that are clean, crisp, and modern looking. The home page of the site I want designed will be a "flowing" home page (a little longer than usual). Sort of like www.MobileNationHq.com - Notice how the home page flows down the page? I like the idea of this but not necessarily the design elements (in other words, the layout is what I like). Anyway, here's the content (the way I like designs is the message is what is MOST important and the design is built around the message). Keep in mind for the section that says, (screenshots) just put in placeholders with a border to represent the screenshots I'd put there. I'll be adding the screenshots later. The tabs on the site should be: Home | About Us | Register | Vass & Associates| Testimonials | Contact I want a big button somewhere near the top that says, "Sign Up For FREE" Then halfway down I want another button that say, "Start Using It Today For Free" (doesn't have to be a button but whatever you think is best) At bottom I want, "The Landowner App Is Free. Register Today" (this could be a link from a headline, doesn't have to be a button) Maybe button under this link or headline could be, "Sign Up For Free" Here's content for site: [headline] Track your issues. Manage your well sites and pipeline. All in one place, no matter where you are! … and the best part is it's FREE! You can access the software from any browser using an internet connection OR on the fly with your mobile device (we currently support iPhone and Android). Using the Landowner App will: - Give you more time to spend doing what you love so you don't have to spend countless hours trying to track your issues and manage your well sites - Save you money by keeping track of rental checks, damages, and outstanding issues. Since our software is FREE and you save money you have a perfect excuse to buy the new iPhone or Android (just call it a business expense) - Reduce your stress since you have one-stop-shop to quickly manage your issues, well sites, and pipeline - Help you communicate your issues to the land agent or oil company by allowing you to easily pull up pictures, audio, notes, and location - Make it easy to sell or pass your land on to your children… now they will see everything at glance - Keep you from losing sensitive information Is it really free? Yes. 100% free, no strings attached. The true value is anywhere from $600 to $1,000 a year. Here is a sneak preview of what you get: (screenshots) Use your desktop computer OR your mobile device… Our software lets you either use your computer at home to manage your well sites and track your issues OR you can do it from your iPhone or Android. Since most landowners are likely out in the field when they see an issue (i.e. damages, gate left open, etc.) it is powerful to be able to whip out your mobile phone and record the issue with a click of a button. You can upload any issue at any time and record your location, upload pictures, record audio, and take notes. Everything you do on your mobile phone will sync with your back office on your home computer and vice versa. Why only iPhone and Android? The simple answer is that they are the easiest mobile devices to develop a mobile app for. Plus, we are giving you an excuse to get a beautiful iPhone or Android since you aren't paying for our software and we are saving you money! We realize that a lot of landowners may have a blackberry but it is difficult building a mobile app that supports all the blackberry platforms. The good news is that having an iPhone or Android is NOT required. You can still use your home computer to use our software. What Is Vass and Associates? Vass and Associates is the company that created The Landowner App™. They represent landowners directly concerning new agreements, rental reviews, damages, and issue tracking and resolution. Since they own and control The Landowner App™ it allows for better management and communication resulting in saving the landowner time and money. There is NO cost for landowners to hire Vass and Associates to represent them directly. To learn more about Vass and Associates please visit http://VassAndAssociates.com. Is my information kept private? Yes, we are the only ones who see your information. We will not sell or rent it to any other company without written consent.
I've attached the logo to use. The website needs to be clean, professional, modern.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their web page design.
Davevass collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
