We are the northeast guide to mountain adventure, including skiing, hiking, biking, and more. Our site is a community and information based site providing a user community, photo gallery, forums. trip reports, gear information, weather reports, ski and snow conditions, and much more.
We have hundreds of pages on the site as it is dynamically generated, but in general they fall into a few unique layouts: 1. Home Page - introduce people to the site and be a hub for navigation eventually will become much more dynamic with news articles, twitter feed, forum activity, new pictures, and more. Will include skyscraper on right side, IAB leaderboard on top 728x90). Required elements on the home page: a. 728x90 Leaderboard advertisement on top and at bottom of page b. 300x250 Rectangle ads in sidebar c. "featured sponsors" rectangle ads (group of 6 that are 120 x 60) stacked 2 wide and 3 tall d. Latest News articles e. Lates Forum Topics f. Latest Images g. Social network links in a prominent position "above the fold" and also in the footer h. Background image on the page, centered design e. Navbar will need to support drop-down menus for subcategories 2. Content Page with a Right Sidebar - will be used for the vast majority of pages on the site - including news articles, gear directory, lodging, weather, ski resorts, etc. - right sidebar will be populated with dynamic related content as well as advertisements (300x250) or "site sponsors" button size or possibly skyscraper Will need to include similar sidebar elements as above but will feature content on the main section. include either news articles, resort information, articles, etc. 3. Content Page with No Sidebar (full width) - I envision this being for sites like full map layouts or the forums themselves that take the full width of the page I attached a real rough draft mockup idea. I'm not tied to that in any way at all. We can move the forums around, boxes around, etc. Edit 2/10: I added some images from Sugarloaf which we are currently using in the header. You can use these in the site design. I also included a couple sample advertisements which we run, which are 300x250, 728x90, and 160x600
Our site audience is typically between 25 - 45 year old, male, in the Northeast, outdoor oriented, socially engaged
