Grestec Tiles are a supplier of floor and wall tiles to businesses predominantly within the UK architecture industry. They are trusted by their customers due to their extensive knowledge and range of tiles, as well as the high quality service they offer. In addition to the above, Grestec understand the fast paced nature of the architectural world and therefore understand that their customers need prompt responses and reliable next day delivery on samples, as well as the ability to find and download product information quickly and easily online. There are a number of reasons why customers choose to buy from Grestec Tiles over competitors such as Domus, Strata or Swedecore, but the fundamental factor is the personal relationship they have built. The Grestec Tiles website is aimed at both Designers and Architects looking to gather information to form part of their design specification. The site needs to offer easy sample selection along with an abundance of information on each product, this helps to push Grestec Tiles as a professional, knowledgeable and quality supplier. Ultimately the customer should be able to get everything they need without speaking to anyone at Grestec.
•Clean, modern and uncluttered websites that feel like they could have designed them themselves. •Websites with good images that displays the quality of a product as well as situations in which the product can be used. •The ability to browse the site based on colours, finishes, sizes and patterns not just materials. •Easy navigation is essential and they want to find information in as few clicks as possible. •Information should be presented in the form of insitu and swatch colour product images and technical specs all of which can be easily downloaded for use in their design specs. •Main colours - Orange: #f47721 Blue: #0e4670 Grey: #6f7173
Quite happy to see what the designers come up with. I have listed a few bits for each page, but we are very open to suggestions. Ultimately we want a clean site that isn’t too cluttered. What to avoid
A cluttered page and a page that looks like a retail shop. It needs to look more technical. The people who will be using our website are professional architects and they want to be able to easily navigate around the site with as little clicks as possible. The home page needs to have a very clear and prominent menu option so that architects or designers who haven't got a lot of spare time can easily see straight away where they need to go to find the product they are looking for. We are also happy with our logo, so we don't want a new logo designed.
•Grey: #6f7173 (Main colour- used most in literature) •Orange: #f47721 (Generally used for links) •Blue: #0e4670 (Generally only used in the logo) IMPORTANT!!! Please could you design the web pages based on the bootstrap template in the link below: https://bbgallerysite.onprospectsoft.com Fonts we generally use: •Headers- Cabin, 30pt •Text- Verdana, 8pt
