Background
I am a software test consultant with a number of years experience working with corporates, and now offer software testing planning and implementation consultancy to small and medium sized businesses, primarily based in the UK and Europe.
The current site was developed a number of years ago and hasn't been updated at all. There are a number of things I'm involved in which will bring some additional exposure, and as such I'd like to have the website in place to support this.
The current website can be seen here: http://www.bonhurst.com
Style/Layout
I am happy with the current logo and colours, and don't see a need to change, unless you suggest otherwise. Typeface wise, I like the modern fonts found in alot of the blogging tools (rather than plain old arial/times) and would like the site to have a more modern, dynamic feel.
I have business cards which are quite bold - the back of each card is shown in the solid orange colour with bold text showing my strapline: software test strategy, management and training.Â
The site structure should be broadly based around the existing site, although I am keen to showcase expertise through articles (perhaps once a month or so).
The site should be cleanly coded - html/css layout and accessible. It should also meet XHTML Strict and CSS validation.
DeliveryÂ
I would like the final site to come fully XHTML'd/CSS'd, and the source PSD/fonts provided if necessary. I'd rather not have a footer credit, but this can be discussed. I'm happy for this site to be added to the winner's online portfoilio and to give a testimonial.
I would expect the delivered code to include styles for text, headers, simple table elements and forms.
