With this design, I took into account the very common look of neon signs: namely the outlined text. I did use neon colors, but I wanted this logo to be very unique.

So I decided on doing colors that you would NOT expect to be in a neon logo, and yet once they are there they don't look bad. This took quite a bit of messing around before I found just the right scheme.

And of course: the client loved it ;)
