Spirit of Spice is a small (handcraft) factory, which is producing high quality Spice products. We are using only natural basic materials – that´s very important for us – no chemistry in our food products! We call these 100% natural spices. Our target customers are people from 25 to 100 – all people, who are interested in good food people, who want to buy quality and not price!
What's your vision?
Modern, time less, stylish, fine-noble, high-quality Due to the fact, that we are changing our bins in near future, we are looking for a new design based on our current CI. Our brand name (spirit of spice), written in a special font, which is our logo as well should stay without changes. As well unchanged should be our “ornament” which is in use for further design elements … see current design picture. 1.The grinder At the moment: we are using one grinder with glass-bin/bottle we like the design, but we need more protection against light for the spices We want for the new look: we want to work with the same glass-bin/bottle, but we would like to use a new label which protects our spices in the bottle better against light. So, the new label should cover the front of the bottle as much as possible. At the back, the bottle should be blanc – our customers wants to see what they get … A appropriate label size could be about 70x54mm (lengths x high) 2.The glasses At the moment: we are using 2 different can´s/tin´s for spices, which will be replaced by new glass-bins. We want to change the packaging: We want to work with 3 different sizes of glasses (see picture) The size of the bin depends on the usage of the content … e.g. exotic, not often used spices will be filled into the small glass/bin (4 cm high). In terms of labeling, the small glass/bin is most challenging – the label-size is small and we need to put all necessary content in our label … Currently our CI/design is very colorful … the color of our current label is based in the color of the content/spices … you could see that very well on our grinder-pictures. We use this “colorful design” for more than 10 years … However, a totally different design-approach could be using a more “reduced” design/label … e.g. using a raw/natural paper-label – which undermine our 100% nature philosophy – and using colors only for naming etc … In terms of label-content we need following: - name of the product/spice - ingredients - weight (Inhalt: 50g) - best before use incl. date (Mindestens halbar bis: xx.xx.20xx) - barcode (EAN13-code) - Manufacture-Address (Spirit of Spice GmbH, 47877 Willich) Especially for the small glass (height 4cm), putting all content onto the small label is not easy. I added two pictures of our content-label, which is currently on the bottom of current used metal-bin ... So, using the cap of the glasses might be appropriate ... also, most of our customer prefer the name of the product at the cap and at the side as well ... if you put many spice-glasses into your store (drawer of shelf), you could see immediately which spice is in which glass ... +++ For this contest, please focus on labels for the new glasses ... the grinder-label could be created in a second step.++++
Important might be as well to integrate a "seal" into the label ... Right now, we are using a separate seal-label ... you could see at the picture of the old cans (small silver label, right top) +++ For this contest, please focus on labels for the new glasses ... the grinder-label could be created in a second step.++++
