Design a technical line card for an Electrical Engineering Specialty Firm
Check out c.myers's Postcard, flyer or print contest…
My company, Electric Power Systems, is a leader in the Electrical Testing and Engineering Services industry. We primarily perform acceptance and maintenance testing and engineering services for large electrical utility companies, industrial facilities, and other large power users.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a one page (front and back) specialty line card design that is visually appealing, portrays us as the high tech company that we are, and will help our Sales Managers to educate people on our specialty services. I have uploaded a data center line card that was developed by our marketing committee, but we don't feel like it has the overall visual appeal and professionalism that we are looking for. I will also upload our most recent general line card, brochure, and trade show exhibit to give a feel for what our other materials look like, but we want fresh ideas as well. It is important that this is designed as a template that we can tweak for multiple specialty service cards. Please use the text content from our data center specialty card draft in your design. We will be doing multiple specialty line cards using this template, so there is the opportunity to get additional work to make minimal changes for those to the design that we choose. Edit: Hey everyone, just wanted to clarify what I am looking for in case there is any confusion. This is to be an informational line card printed front and back on 8.5"x11" paper that will be handed to potential customers. The text content needs to roughly follow what is on the 'Data Center' line card that was submitted in the attachments. You can be as creative as you want with the layout and images, but it has to contain the text information in order to be useful to us. Thanks and good luck!
The company's biggest strength is our multiple locations across North America. Because of that, we want a location map to be a prominent part of this line card in some way. We are a member of NETA, so that logo should be somewhere on the display, but it is not a major component. I can provide plenty of professionally shot images in an electrical substation environment that we have licensing for if you have something specific that you would like to use. Good representations of these are on our website. www.epsii.com EPS has 2 primary logos that we use. One is the '3 line' logo that is used across the top of documents, etc. The other is the square logo that is used on hats, shirts, social media, etc. We would like for both logos to be utilized in some way. Logos can be used in our standard blue color, or in white.
