scott66 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Online ordering company needs a new logo

We provide an online ordering system for restaurants so their customers can place pickup/delivery orders on their computer/phone
We're looking to revise our current logo (which you can see at www.ehungry.com) which is several years old and has gotten a little stale. The "wired mouse" in the logo is obviously a bit outdated and the font is hard to read when it gets small (going forward we'd probably prefer a more bold/sans-serif type font). We do like the technology + food metaphor but it's not set in stone and we're open to new ideas. While we typically have our company name in mixed case (eHungry), we're also open to formatting it differently incase it works better as "ehungry", "EHungry", "EHUNGRY", etc. for the logo. A few ideas we've had thrown around would be the "e" trying to eat the "hungry" part; a stretched "u" (in eHungry) being lips with a tongue sticking out (like licking it's lips), or "EHUNGRY" in bold with bites (or bytes -- a little dad humor there) taken out of it. But again, we're definitely open to any and all ideas. Thanks! --- UPDATE --- Please no plate covers, waiters or chef hats. That signifies fine dining and that's not our market. Also we prefer keeping designs more simple/bold and only 2-3 colors so that it looks good small too. Thanks! --- UPDATE 2 --- Since I noticed a lot of designs with the gps / map point metaphor, I'd suggest going a different direction. That idea is probably better for a restaurant directory / delivery service. eHungry provides online ordering software for restaurants (so customers don't actually come to eHungry to search for restaurants)

A designer that is very harmonious and quickly understands what I want. After examining the references of this designer, I invited him to my logo project. It was a great pleasure to work with him.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
