Inspiration can be found at engproducts.com. Client does like their anniversary badge at the top of the page.
Client wants to simplify logo, possible using only the 'e'. (see attached) (This may result in removing full "epco" name completely from icon)
They would like to utilize the 'e' in a more abstract/modern way.
They are looking for something very balanced that can be used as a whole, but would also like the ability to break it apart to be used as individual design elements.
* Full use of "EPCO" is not ruled out if it balances with the new design

"So here's the thing. I don't really want to modify the e itself that
much. i actually like some of the ideas with the transformed e.
However, we have slowly transitioned to the e as our main logo/icon.
To completely transform at this point would be too soon as our
customers are not used to JUST the e being the EPCO logo so we need to
bring that forward as the main identity for EPCO before we can think
about transforming the design of the e.
I also don't think gradients will show well. I'm just thinking
universally how the logo can be used with out having issues with
