EDIT: UPDATED BRIEF Having run this contest once over 7 days, none of the entries were 100% what we were after, so this contest has been opened up again. Upon further reflection we have realised that what we're really after is a "revamp" of the existing logo to make it look a bit more modern, a bit more web 2.0. We liked the styles of the fonts of entries #3 and #30 in the first competition, but none of the logos were really indicative enough of what our business and product entails, that being computer software for sports organisations. That's why the existing logo works quite well we think. So we're essentially looking for a bit of a revamp of the existing logo so it looks a bit more modern and also so it can be used in more media (ie print, merchandise etc - the existing logo's font doesn't really lend itself to some of these things I don't think). I've also attached a higher resolution version of the existing logo to the competition now in case that helps anyone. Thanks. END EDIT The existing logo has served us well for the last 5 years, but an update is due. There are two potential new website designs , one of which has a dark (nearly black) background where the logo will go, and one which has a very light (nearly white) background where the logo will go, so potential logos for either route would be handy. And a logo that looks good in quite small format would be good too, as sometimes we add "Powered by Spawtz" to the bottom of sites, and it would be nice to include the logo in that text, but it would need to be small then. The Spawtz application itself is an online application that venues or leagues use to generate fixtures, accept registrations online, update results, take online payments, create bookings etc. Our target audience are the venue managers, and as such there is not really a "standard" customer - they all vary in age, gender, location and education. Basically we are just looking for something that is a bit more web 2.0.
