Nandini Taneja got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Agricultural Technology Event

"Breeding Scientific Innovations, Harvesting Global Commercial Breakthroughs" (We often need to drop the tagline from the logo because it is long so it should be placed in a manner where it is easily separated from the rest of the design.)
The Ag Innovation Showcase is the premier agricultural technology event where investors, corporate executives and innovators/entrepreneurs in the space connect. The event has established itself as the leading platform for dialog and deal-flow in agricultural technology. The Showcase is made up of three days of presentations from early stage agricultural technology entrepreneurs, networking sessions, keynote speeches and thematic panels. Primary target audiences: Executives from large companies with an interest in agricultural technology (E.g. Dow Agrosciences, PepsiCo, Monsanto etc.), agricultural technology investors and early stage technology companies with applications in food production, renewable energy, agricultural-biotechnology, animal health and farming technologies.
Logo types to explore
We want to keep some connection to the old logo so that someone looking at the new logo is able to identify it as the same event which is now in its fifth year. For example, this might mean keeping some version of the leaf identifiable within the new logo. Key attributes of the event: innovative, global, sustainability, discovering technology solutions for critical problems like food security and clean energy sources
