clittle got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a product logo for a handgun shooting training system.

We are a tech company who has developed a product in the fire arms industry called: TriggerMaster. It is a practice device for shooting a handgun that syncs with an iPhone app to deliver shot analytics and tips.
This is a product that has been designed by a technology company for people who are interested in improving handgun shooting skills. The technology is wrapped around the idea of "mastering the trigger pull motion" of a handgun. I'm not sure the logo has to be too literal in communicating that idea, but just for some background. The target customer is not your average hunter, but more someone who can afford a product with a higher price point who is probably more into things like gadgets, tech toys (think Apple products, drones, etc) - but does enjoy shooting whether for protection or just as a hobby.
