Design a logo for a female singer-songwriter !!

I am a 22 years old female singer songwriter, my music is somewhere between pop-rock-electro and indie-alternative. I mostly write songs about things such as soulmates, destiny, the universe or even aliens and the end of time. I need a logo for my pseudonym 'NÉO' because my debut EP is almost finished and ready !!

I drew the logo, but it's not pretty at all because I'm no good at it.
It's just a way to explain myself; so I'd like you to keep the main features, especially the GEOMETRIC PATTERN (I WON'T CHOSE A LOGO THAT DOESN'T KEEP THE GEOMETRIC PATTERN I DREW, SO LOOK AT MY DRAWING BEFORE YOU START !!). The thing I drew in yellow is supposed to be a kind of flame, a light (that looks a little like an eye actually, but it's not a eye because I want it to be more subtle). I didn't know how to deal with it...I would like a light spreading from the inside out, coming from the center of the O and spreading everywhere.
The mains drawings lines are in light blue, because it represent the solid part of the logo. And the dark-blue lines are supposed to be like shadows, but I'm opened to suggestions as long as you keep the geometric pattern.
I also opened to suggestions concerning the colors (I chose indigo-blue, dark, violet, and golden yellow for the center of the O, but I don't know how to put it all together.
One last important thing: I'd like the logo to be a little dusky, shady, because I want to emphasize the fact that the light comes from te O.
I see it a little like a constellation, with stars and links between them so maybe it would be a good idea to add other light-flame points in the logo, I don't know !
