ef383 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a cool logo for a viticultural science event.

Nelson J. Shaulis Symposium
Cornell University viticulture professors are in need of a logo for a digital viticulture event they are having this year for people in the wine/viticulture industry.
We typically use "Work Sans" and "Lora" fonts, so if the fonts chosen look good with those fonts, that would be great. Feel free to play with the D & V in Digital Viticulture and we are open to viticulture imagery as long as it's clean, modern and not hoaky :)
US$ 299 Bronze package

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
ef383 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
