james8n got their new logo design by running a design contest:
4 Burros Ranch - Est 1876
Check out james8n's Logo design contest…
The name 4 Burros came from four burros that were rescued by our forefathers and brought to our family ranch from a Bureau Of Land Management roundup near the Grand Canyon. We are developing our family ranch that has been in our family since 1876. We plan to grow olive trees and wine grapes and sell olive oil and wine. In addition, we plan to invite the public to the ranch for Agritourism (wine & olive oil tasting, nature hiking, mountain biking & a possible wedding venue). Think heritage, modern western, modern ranch, clean lines.
We would prefer that the designer incorporates an image of a burro and / or burros into the text of the name (see Gander image attached for example). Somehow placing a leaf within the logo (see attached image) is mandatory. We have also attached a file with a bunch of agriculturally oriented brands and would like the designer to keep our logo in the same vein. We also require that the designer create a round 4B logo.

Dazuke was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive and attentive to the requests that were made. Not only was he able to capture my vision but he added elements I wouldn't have imagined on my own. I look forward to working with him on future projects!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
