The company interface will be an online showroom and shop, operating on the virtual market in the commercial area.
The product offer is apparel and accessories − such as t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tank tops and backpacks – where artists’ drawings and illustrations will be printed on.
I want to realize a web-shop that sells the idea that what we do it’s not mere business, but an online showroom where visitors may first appreciate the artworks showed, and then eventually become costumers having the possibility to buy t-shirts representing their favourite designs.
Said so, the website will focus on the artists, on their works and the stories behind those; because that’s the way to demonstrate to our visitors that they won’t buy a simple t-shirt, but a wearable piece of art.
The website will be like a museum, and the products selling like the souvenir shop at the end of it.
Now, why would the artists want to apply to this project?
To guarantee visibility, artists will have their own dedicated space, linked to thier social media's pages, showing picture of themselves, of their studio and a brief introduction of the art concept behind their works.
The artists will rotate to avoid an excessive accumulation of designs (that would make the idea of selection and uniqueness lose), to guarantee to all the illustrators that have joined the project a fair share of visibility, and to make the visitors aware of all the variety of design without letting them lose in a oversized quantity of illustrations and artists: the exhibition of a limited number of designs will be available for a limited period of time (4 months).
Target visitors group: men ad women between 20 and 30 years old.
I will tell you how I came up with the name:
"Ammaliante" means in the neapolitan culture "very attractive", "ammaliante" becomes "ammaliarte" (arte it's italian for art), drop one of the "m" because I didn't like the sound of it, and we have "amaliarte".
I don't have a clear idea of what the logo should look like, I want to be surprised by what you will propose.
But I can tell that I would like a logo, a symbol, a drawing, that gives the idea of "ART"!
A logo that make the visitors understand what the website is about just by looking at it!
No written logos that simply says "amaliarte".
The winner of this contest will be contacted for a 1 - 1 project.
We now decided to opt for two different logos:
- Amaliarte gallery
- Amaliarte e-shop
Feel free to start with any of those two.
Remember that we are looking for something extremelly original, but that still suits our vision.
