Nã Pola Ki'i is 'Olelo Hawai'i (Hawaiian Language) for "Banana-Blossom Pictures" Also, while this text block shows the line over the a in Nã as a squiggly line, it truly should be a flat bar above the ... The banana flower, to me, is something unexpected and often overlooked as the average person thinks on bananas or even harvests their ... As a filmmaker and artist I feel I want to use my tools and trade to highlight these qualities in the world around ... To find the unexpected ... To bring overlooked and suppressed issues into ... To tell stories that we know are true but swept under the rug or untold to this point and surprise the ...
