Rwender1 got their new illustration or graphics by running a design contest:
Create a medical electronics illustration for Triad Semiconductor
Check out Rwender1's Illustration or graphics contest…
We make custom integrated circuits called ICs. An IC is a "computer chip" also called an ASIC or semiconductor. Triad helps companies making electronics products to get their circuits integrated into a single 'chip' solution.
What's your vision?
I would like an illustration that shows how Triad's IC integration makes hand-held medical devices possible. Hand-held medical devices often have tiny physical spaces where electronics can be housed. Integration is a must if the electrical engineer is going to get their electronics to fit inside the medical device. In the upper part of the illustration show a printed circuit board (PCB) full of electronics that would be impossible to fit inside the mechanical enclosure of the medical device. In the middle of the illustration, show a single chip representing all of the electronics on the PCB integrated into this single device. The single chip package should look like a QFN package (Google QFN and look at images). At the bottom of the illustration, the single chip is on a tiny circuit board that is now part of a surgeon's hand-held medical device. Not strong requirement but I would like the ability to swap out the bottom third of the illustration with other application illustrations. This first illustration is for a hand-held medical device. Another illustration would for a wearable technology wrist-watch with the IC going into a watch on someone's wrist. A wide variety of illustration styles are acceptable. A nice effect would be that the illustration got more "photo realistic" as you go from top to bottom. The top of the illustration is the 'idea', 'challenge' or "conceptualization part" of the drawing. The middle part of the illustration is the solution and the bottom is the realization or "reality part" of the illustration. So, the following styles are good (And, I'm wide open to others as well) 1) entire illustration looks like an initial sketch on blank paper or graph paper 2) the illustration progresses from sketch to more photo realistic illustration as you go from top to bottom 3) the entire illustration is more detailed and photo real
