obusek got their new icon or button by running a design contest:
Create an iOS app icon for an photo aggregation app

Lightning Development Company creates iOS applications for all iOS users.
What's your vision?
An iOS application icon needs to be designed for an app that involves aggregating a user's pictures from various online services where a user may have uploaded a photo (eg Flickr, Facebook, Instragram, etc). Specifically, the app provides a unique way to browse groups of photos from the user's past. The icon should convey a sense of nostalgia, such as one would feel looking at a wedding photo album from 10 years ago. It should present a feeling of going back in time, or remember good times from the past based on browsing pictures. Ideas I've had include: showing an analog clock ticking backwards, or some combination of a camera and a calendar, or even a person thinking about some event in the past. Please don't feel limited to these ideas. There is no color palette currently defined for the app, so feel free to use any colors desired. There will be minimum design in the app besides browsing photos, so there really aren't any limitations in terms of need the app icon to match an existing design.
I will need the app icon delivered as a layered Photoshop PSD file, or layered Pixelmator document.
