Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
With the growing aging population the Buller’s have seen a need to help individuals with their
nutritional needs. Many people have had to endure difficulty swallowing food that has led to
poor nutrition. A growing community of mature adults experiences a lessening of the senses of
smell and taste in their aging process. There is a reduction in the enjoyment of the food
experience that, in turn, lessens the personal desire for food. There is no magic pill to restore full
senses of smell and taste. Through years of experience with elderly, the Buller’s have learned
only one thing patients continually want to eat. This is ice cream. Utter Nutrition will
manufacture a nutritional supplemented ice cream and sherbet. These products will provide the
needed intake of vitamins and minerals to the aging population. As a person ages, their eating habits diminish and they can suffer from dysphagia and
depression. Trying to boost an individual’s intake is a constant struggle for caregivers. Utter
Nutrition will be supplying this needed nutrition in the good taste of ice cream.
