Guidelines for the book cover:
1. Since an important audience is adults with limited sight, the cover needs to accommodate this group. This can be done with high contrast colors or words that are slightly larger than normal.
2. Another important audience is adults with normal vision, so the cover needs to appeal to adults with normal vision, in addition to adults with limited vision.
3. Blind adults prefer simple imagery, and I prefer the same, even though I have normal sight. Simple imagery also fits with this book. It does not tell a sensational story. It describes a simple guy who worked in factory, lost his sight, and tried getting a normal life back. In the process, he cried a little, laughed a lot, and succeeded. I created simple imagery for the book's website.
4. I encourage you to view the current website for the book. It's at " http://walkingoutofthedark.com ". You can view this website to see the existing graphics, read the first chapter, and read summaries of other chapters.
