I am an author of commercial fiction, most notably romantic thrillers with a strong female lead.

The book is entitled In the Twisted Web. It's the story of a young woman from South Carolina who goes to London to study forestry in the Epping Forest. She is an expert on "the social network of trees"—the underground root web that allows trees to communicate and interact.

While in London, she becomes the target of a predatory stalker who uses information systems, most notably London's network of half a million cameras, to stalk and terrorize her. The stalker also uses access to her phone, social networks, and apps.

I'm looking for a book cover that conveys the parallel between the connectedness of nature and the connectedness of technology, and lets the reader in on the dark and menacing quality of the storyline.

What I imagine: The serenity of nature with a suggestion of menace just below the surface.
