Supercharge Your Reading: How to use a Kindle to read more books and remember what you read.
Maneetpaul Singh is a YouTuber making videos about digital reading.
Supercharge Your Reading is a book to help bookworms get the most out of their Kindle, so they can read more books and retain the knowledge they learn.
This book is aimed at nonfiction readers that use a Kindle. Both male and female, likely with a college education. Primarily English speaking in America.
My vision is a cover with a Kindle taking up the entire front. On the Kindle's display will be the title of the book (large size) written in the Kindle "Bookerly" font (or a similar Serif font). See the rough mockup I attached for an example. I imagine this being very modern/simplistic. Using a Kindle is supposed to be a mindful experience, I want this book cover to resemble that emotion. The book cover needs to be readable when resized down to 90 pixels (the size of Amazon book thumbnails). I will require multiple formats of the final book cover. The primary export I need is for Amazon e-book. Follow the Kindle e-book guidelines for dimensions: https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G200645690 I will also need a 3D render of the final book cover that I can use for marketing. Lastly, I will need a non-Amazon export(s) that can be used for other formats such as Apple iBooks and NOOK.
What to avoid
I'm not sure if it's okay to use the Kindle logo on the cover, so maybe it's best to use a generic template of a Kindle. It needs to look like the most recent Kindle, not an old one.
It all began with a design brief.

Eventos Humanos did a really beautiful cover for us. He is very responsive, a great communicator, and a fantastic designer. I highly recommend!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
