Book 1 in a historical suspense series set in Ancient Arabia

I am looking for a book cover for Book 1 in a series, so the design will need to be adaptable to future books in the series.
The larger title (which will be on all books of the series) is The Incense Road. Book 1's specific title should be in a smaller type size, and is Star of Wonder. The author name is Tracy Higley.

This is a historical series is about a caravan crossing the Arabian desert in the year 6 BC, so it should have an ancient middle-eastern feeling to it, with slightly Arabic feeling, but not so Arabic that it feels medieval, which would be the wrong time period.

It should feel primarily suspenseful and mysterious, not romantic. Think "epic quest."

I am picturing a strong central image, somewhat photo realistic, that can be exchanged for other images for subsequent books in the series.

The author name should be in a large type size.

I am attaching several images of other books which have the general feel and color scheme I am envisioning. I am also attaching a previous book of my own (Pyramid of Secrets), which has the type of realistic photo I like, but i am open to creativity on the type of illustration.

This book will be available in print as well as ebook, so it will need a spine and back cover.

I will need the cover files in PSD format with layers intact, so I'm able to use various parts of it for different marketing purposes.
